From November 13 to 15, we will be participating at the Fall 2024 National CMAC Meeting, organized by Transport Canada, in Ottawa.

Our Communications Manager, Jannie Bédard Guillemette, will be presenting at the Opening Plenary on November 13, from 8:30 to 9:45 am.

One of our assessors, Michael Grebler, will be presenting at the Standing Committee on the Environment on November 15 at the session taking place from 1:15 to 2:15 pm.

From 26 to 29 November, we will be participating at the NSFM 2024 Annual Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We invite you to visit our booth during the conference.

On October 30, we will make a presentation titled “When Oil Spills Happen: Understanding the Layers of Compensation Available.” This presentation is part of the TC Webinar Series on Marine Pollution for federal employees.

We will explore the various layers of compensation, including those from international sources. Different scenarios will be examined—whether the incident involves oil tankers or non-tankers, and whether the vessels are insured or uninsured.
